I’m Hein Thu, a cloud engineer focused on cloud architecture and the design and evolution of reliable cloud and AI infrastructure.

I work across cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, automation, security, observability, and deployment workflows, with a focus on building reliable and maintainable platforms.

My work and personal projects explore how infrastructure changes as applications evolve—from traditional web and search platforms to vector search, RAG, and agentic AI systems. Rather than treating AI as only a model problem, I focus on the platform around it: networking, access control, scalability, reliability, monitoring, deployment, and operational design.

CloudJi is where I document those systems end to end. Projects show how architectures are designed and evolved, while articles examine individual engineering decisions, trade-offs, experiments, and operational lessons in more depth.
